One can make home conditioner in his/her home. Homemade hair conditioners are considered much better than those available in market because of the chemical elements. Conditioners available in market are prone to have huge amount of chemicals in them whereas those made in home are quite pure. Let’s talk about a home conditioner recipe. For that one needs to have the following things,

1 teaspoon of malt vinegar
1 teaspoon of castor oil.
1 teaspoon of glycerin.
1 teaspoon of Indian gooseberry or bacopa oil.

All the above mentioned ingredients have different functions to perform. Malt vinegar is known for restoring acid mantle whereas castor oil provides body to your beautiful hair. Call it herbal oil as Indian gooseberry gives that much needed tonic to your hair and glycerin is very useful in providing moisturize to your hair. One needs to apply shampoo so that these ingredients blend together in an effective way. This mixture needs to be applied before washing your hair and then leave it for 20 minutes.

While applying to the hair, be gentle. After the specified time, wash it with shampoo and clean water. Now, feel the change in your hair texture. There are other home made conditioners as well. Like for dry hair, one can make a mix of henna, oil and warm milk to make a paste. Apply it on hair and leave it for 20 minutes. Wash it with water and feel the wonderful change.

One needs not to read about importance of hair in enhancing our looks. It is so deeply ingrained in our psyche that hair pattern adds to the overall beauty of any individual. Physical appearance gets a tremendous boost with good hair style. Sadly, many people have started to be affected from stressed lifestyle. Baldness or graying of hair has become a common problem. For many men, there is no escape route from balding scalp. Situation becomes slightly tricky when it comes to hair loss in women. For every woman, hair is the most important thing in their outward appearance. It is not only a symbol of personal care but also beauty and class.

Many women have started experiencing excessive hair loss. This condition is also known as alopecia in medical terms. One can argue about factors affecting hair growth in women. What exactly is causing hair loss in women? Normally women don’t go completely bald. Compared to men, women have less chances of facing total baldness.

However, numbers of women are affected with this confidence-shaking experience. Excessive hair loss is first indication of something is wrong with your body so that demands immediate attention. The thing with hair is that occasional hair loss is expected but all in all hair is expected to grow at a steady pace. But arrival of alopecia signifies urgent need of looking at your body and evaluating your lifestyle. There could be several reasons behind this development. We will look at all the factors in coming article.

Many households in India place special emphasis on brushing 100 strokes each day so that hair will grow faster. But in reality, that is going to hurt the hair cuticle so never ever do that. Rather use a comb instead of brush. Vigorous use of brush will cause hair breakage and split ends.

One of the most common myths is cutting your hair frequently will make it grow faster and thicker. Wrong again. The main reason behind this misconception is that compared to tip hair is thicker at base. So having short hair gives it a thick appearance. Hair has a biologically determined growth rate so no frequency of hair cutting is going to bring thickness and length to it. Hair that are limp, fickle or thin will remain that way however one can use volume enhancing hair care products to plump up the hair. One can also use color treatment or hair fattening blunt cut or even texturing perm to enhance the look of the hair.

One frequently believed myth is that sleeping with wet hair will cause scalp fungus. That’s again is wrong. Fungal diseases can not be caught from sleeping with wet scalps. To be in contact with infected sources like tainted hair care tools or humans or animals is the more appropriate reason for getting scalp infection. More so, children are more likely to victim of scalp fungus because of their low immune system.

But that’s really a misconception. Even if you have short hair, you can style it in attractive ways. It is a known fact that, long tresses are easy to style but short hair can be made equally appealing provided you put in some efforts. There are plenty of options for styling short hair.
Updos for short hair are, in fact the flavor of the season. Updos basically refers to a style where short hair is styled in such a way that tresses look longer and fuller. If you have unruly hair then Updos are the best option available to you.

There are times when you are running late for office and want to try something new. Well, have a go at updos. They can be done easily and quickly. Updos also look quite chic. It also gives you a wonderful option of going for new styles and gets rid of same old boring styles. What you can do is to split your hair in two portions and make pig tails on both sides. Furthermore, roll pig tails into bun above your ears. If you have very short hair, use scarf or wear a bandana and leave few strands for a more glamorous look. You can also use hair sprays or hair gels for further effects.

If you have very short wavy hairs, then tie the hair in a high pony and let loose a few strands in the nape for a smart cool look. Your band should be very elastic. You can also make your short hair look stylish by rolling your hair on the back into a neat bun and secure it with a rubber band. You see, these are just few wonderful and stylish ideas for short hair. You can experiment more and get your favorite look.

I firmly believe that the less you dip your fingers in a pot of cream the better. Dipping simply adds bacteria and the product goes off more quickly. The bottle comes inside a cardboard box, the font and packaging in general are classic, no fuss and clean in appearance.

Application The Pai Camellia & Rose cleanser has a soft light textured cream. This Pai product felt gentle and light as I massaged it into my face and neck, it quickly dissolved my make up and did not sting my eyes as I cautiously decided to test their claims that it is suitable for removing eye make up. The fragrance is light, a little rosy and geranium smelling, pleasant and very subtle. I removed Pai cleanser from around my eyes with damp cotton pads and it removed my entire eye make up, for my face and neck I used a muslin cloth which was perfect for gently exfoliating too.

Ingredients The ingredients list is refreshingly simple and nutritious. The camellia oil is said to be packed full of omega 3 and vitamins A, B, C & E and sweet almond oils nourish the skin whilst the rose water soothes. There appear to be no dubious ingredients sneaked in which could be due to it having the soil association stamp of approval.

Results I used the Pai cleanser for several days and found it kept my normal (ish) skin balanced and even. My skin felt soft not taught after using and completely fresh and clean.

Pros: It softened my skin whilst it cleansed.
Wonderful for sensitive skins, so gentle yet thorough.
I love the pump design to prevent waste and contamination.
The 125ml bottle should last 8-12 weeks- fantastic value for money!

Cons: The smell is so subtle it’s a little boring to use.

Face exercises are gaining popularity with men and women who want a youthful looking face.

You might already have been exercising to keep your body well toned and in good shape. If so, you probably know that exercise helps to tone your muscles, and give you a better posture and body figure.

Since exercise benefits the body, fitness experts are now doing facial exercises to keep the face in shape.

As you age, the face muscles weaken due to wear and tear. The muscles underneath the facial skin lose the firmness, causing your facial features to sag. You might notice the tell tale signs of droopy eyes, cheek pouches and hanging jowls. Those once attractive cheekbones have disappeared, and you seem to have a flat, wide face.

I am sure you would have realized that, doing facials at the beauty salon, and applying skin care products can not completely solve the problem of a older looking face caused by sagging facial muscles.

No one can stop the aging process. But the good news is, there are special exercises for the face to help tone and strengthen the face muscles.

Doing the specific face exercises can help address some of these common beauty problems.
Signs of aging – wrinkles, crow feet, frown linesChubby cheeksDouble chinSagging jowlsDull skin tone
When exercising the face, the objective is to strengthen the facial muscles and to lose the fat. When you have successfully reduced the excess face fat and tone up the facial muscles, you will see a noticeable change in your face contour. Your cheekbones start to show and your jawline becomes more prominent.

Some face exercise programs might include a diet plan, aerobic exercise, meditation or relaxation techniques. Such holistic approach increases the overall effectiveness of your workout. And you begin to see results sooner than you would, if you perform only the face exercises.

When you exercise the face, you improve the blood circulation flowing to the face, neck and scalp of your head. This permits more oxygen and nutrients to reach the cells. Both elements are essential building blocks for the renewal of healthy skin cells.

In addition, exercising the face promotes detoxification in the facial tissues. Movements in the face muscles stimulate the lymphatic system to remove toxins and excess fluid. This helps to reduce puffiness in the face and bags under the eyes, caused by water retention. Overtime, you will find you have clearer skin and a healthy glowing complexion.

If you have always wanted a lean, attractive and younger looking face, try out face exercises for yourself. Choose a face workout that is right for you. Make it part of your face care routine. Your consistent effort will be rewarded.

Face exercises just take up 15-20 minutes of your time everyday. Even though it is not a quick fix for saggy facial muscles, you would get noticeable results after a period of regular workout. It is possible to have a younger looking face with face exercise.

In women, alopecia develops progressively and is way different in methods of their occurrence and distribution on the scalp than in men. If men’s hair loss appears to be patterned, starting at the temporal areas to the crown, women’s hair loss on the other hand is way diffused. Diffuse in a mode to occur in indefinite areas all over the head, though the crown area seems to be far more pronounced and apparent after years of hair loss experience.

Cause of this diffused or common hair loss more often is hereditary, but medical conditions, medications and some other factors are considered accountable. Just like its reciprocal variety of baldness in men, this referred to hair loss, as the female pattern baldness, is similarly influenced by enzyme 5-alpha reductase and a so-called aromatase, enzyme found predominantly in women.

In current studies they somehow concluded a vast difference and variety of causes for female pattern hair loss than just the most common DHT and androsteinedione. It is demonstrated that women who are diagnosed to be suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome will expectedly double their suffering with hair loss. This syndrome, affects the balance of women’s level of hormones, thus predisposing hair loss. Furthermore, medical conditions as iron-deficiency anemia, thyroid problems of any sort, and chronic diseases instigate secondary hair loss.
